Thanks for the pictures, Kat. Ugh! I don't like the looks of that hill. Memories of time in PA. But looks like the trucks were out to do whatever was needed to be helpful. Glad you got your internet back.
Robin, any word on your son yet? Your weather forecasts don't sound encouraging. Not being used to having it go on and on and on, you're probably like me and just want to be able to say, "I'm so over this!" (That's what I'm thinking this morning).
Kris, 12 inches! Blah is putting it mildly. Enjoy the snow ice cream. Brings back good memories of when my mother used to make it for us. I did it a couple of times for my youngest son but it was never as good as I remembered from my own childhood.
Poirot, it still seems strange that others are getting more snow than you. Uh oh, your manager may be getting some loud protests if he doesn't take care of the business of keeping access open and clean for the residents, and rightfully he should get the message loud and clear.
It snowed more here overnight but wasn't much below freezing and has been melting all morning as the sun has been breaking through in short spurts. Clouds will be gone by tonight so will get into the 20s*, freezing anything that has remained wet. After tomorrow we'll see warmer days, and mild freezes overnights. Yes, I'm definitely over this!
My niece called. Her cows were about to stampede her (their pasture is around her house, though she has a fence around her yard), so she went ahead and fed them. Mine are off about 3 miles from here so out of sight, but she's was going to go ahead and go feed them while she was hooked up and ready. She wanted me to stay home in case she had trouble so she could call for help. She said the roads are really slick.
