It's all about money. If they cram everything into two weeks they only pay to rent the studio half the month. Paul Telfer (Xander) said before Christmas they were doing 3 episodes a day to get season 60 wrapped. Can you imagine trying to do quality scenes with wardrobe changes, stuff out of order, and insane amounts of dialogue? Mad respect to these actors.

I'm a little dismayed they're still working out Ron's stories. I wonder what's happening with Rachel that the current actress couldn't handle? Or perhaps her guardians objected?

Yeah, but his stories shouldn’t take six months to tie up. I can't imagine anything in the next 3 months taking more than a week or two to wrap up since all of Ron's plots rely on everyone being stupid.

Ron likes to rehash, so he's probably taking the Nicky and Lisanne Gardner route with Rachel and Ava.

From what I gathered, the fallout of the forged letter story is just wrapping now and they inherited it in episodes airing May 2025. But Paul Telfer (Xander) said what he does like is that things in other plots that have nothing to do with Xander still impact him, there is far more bleeding between characters and stories.

That gives me some hope.
Actually a lot. Usually they're so bubbly about new writers and it ends up being a letdown. Being more stable is a good thing.
