Square - Replay of Kate and Bonnie discussing the BS leak. This is a nightmare for the show. Bonnie talks about Hattie's curse and possibly sending poison to the show. Kate's going to talk to the police. Spoiling is not a crime.
DiMera Office Building Shot, Gabi's Office - Replay of Leo confronting Javi. Leo knows Javi did it. Javi claims he did not do it and in fact does not care. The laptop had to be the source because some of the leaked ideas only existed there, he hadn't told anyone. Leo thinks Javi's guilty and played him. Javi lays out the timeline (he's been in town two days) and says all that (Javi) actually did was fall for a jerk. Javi thought he hit the lottery, but he needs Leo gone or he'll call security. Leo tries to apologize, Javi stands firm, Leo slinks away.
Brady Pub Entrance - Gabi ends a business call as JJ walks up. He tells her Chad asked EJ to let Cat off the hook. They talk about the plan to turn her over to Clyde. JJ doesn't think Chad will comply. JJ thinks Cat might still be working for Clyde, perhaps. This has been hard on his parents and he's worried Steve will go rogue if he is in on the plan. (JJ is doing great in these scenes, tough but the sadness is coming through.) Gabi wants peace for the family even though it might be hard to believe. She also wants Weston to pay. She will help if he needs it. They thank each other and she leaves. JJ smiles.
Horton House - Cat is wearing a slumber party hairdo and a trenchcoat. She's pacing. Chad is pacing. They bicker as they wait for Clyde to call. Clyde calls. Chad tells him he doesn't care what he does to Cat, who has no idea as he looks at her. The call ends. They talk about how thick he laid on his hatred for Cat. (Focus on the pictures of Doug and Julie in the background, not this banal mess.) Clyde wants them to pretend to be married.
Commissioner's Office - Jada is at her desk. Rafe gave her his resignation. He slept on it and is more sure. Rafe isn't suing even though he probably could. He doesn't want to cause trouble for Paulina or Jada. Jada's a great commissioner. Rafe is disappointed but it's not a macho thing. That's the upshot (I like Rafe and Jada but this conversation lasts way too long). Jada offers him his job back.
Horton House - Cat and Chad wonder if they're walking into a trap. Cat suggests they send decoys, like maybe perhaps her brother, who would do anything to make up his transgression. Chad is against this. As they are discussing this, JJ comes in and learns of the decoy plan. JJ will be a decoy. JJ has an idea of someone who can play Mrs Chad DiMera.
Commissioner's Office - Paulina comes in and tells them about the cupcake fiasco. The cupcakes were sent to the actors/crew homes with a card. The blood work will reveal the toxin. Paulina learns Rafe quit. They need the best detective on this; Kate enters and lays out the case against Hattie. Paulina's ready to move, but Jada says they have to figure out if it was food poisoning or deliberate first. Paulina calls Kayla, then reports to Kate and Jada that it was poison but not enough to do permanent damage.
DiMera Offices - Javi has a flashback. (He and Leo talk about drinks - can't find the episode link.) Gabi enters. Javi says he and Leo are done. He deletes Leo's contact.
Square - Bonnie asks Leo what happened when he confronted the guy. Leo thinks he made a huge mistake. END
